Quick update:
- I went to my first bar! It felt more like a restaurant and had a super cool atmosphere. It was outdoors and definitely a nice place to chill and talk to friends. I didn't order anything. Not even a pop! I honestly didn't want anything, but next time I think I will at least get a pop so that they don't keep asking if I'm alright! haha
- The other big thing that happened was that our group got to tour downtown Córdoba! We even took a double-decker bus and got to play tourists for the afternoon! The city is gorgeous, but feels HUGE! After our tour, we decided to stay and find dinner and shop. By the time we were leaving it was around 9:00. The fun thing about the city is the bus system... NOT. It is so confusing. One of the other girls in my program lives close to me, so we stuck together, but we waited forever and ever for a bus, only to discover that it was the other N4... weird. We had to walk a couple of blocks and find another street to get to the correct bus and then just hope that it would bring us close to home. I was honestly pretty scared because we had no way to get in contact with anyone if something happened. I definitely prayed A LOT! But we made it home safely and without a problem. So thankful.

Random things:
This is a picture of a type of Mate (a VERY popular drink, basically a type of herbal tea). Every morning I have something similar for breakfast! I have only tried the "typical" mate twice, but I liked it a lot!
Ok, so my host mom (Nena) seriously takes such good care of me!! She went to the movies this evening and left me food for dinner and a little note about how to prepare it! Love her.
